What a Great Weekend!
I had such a nice weekend. I just thought I'd share it with everyone.
Friday night Michael and I had no plans. All week we were so excited that we had nothing on the docket that we were obligated to do, and of course once Friday night rolled around, we were bored and wanted something to do.
So, I got this brilliant idea. Let's go to downtown Ft. Worth and just walk around. So we left here at about 9pm and drove to Sundance Square. It was such a beautiful night, and lots of people were out. We went into the Flying Saucer to get a beer, and this random drunk guy at the bar bought us each a beer! SCORE! Free beer! Then we left there and just walked around where Main Street Fesitvals is going on. Then we came home. What a nice night!
Saturday was a domestic day. We cleaned his apartment from top to bottom (with the occasional working around the two other lazy slugs in his apartment: his brother and his brother's female friend that is staying there for a while) and rearranged his bedroom. Hard work, but such a sense of accomplishment when it was all over! A clean kitchen and a "new" bedroom arrangement. :) Then we went to the hot tub and just relaxed...came back in, watched Forrest Gump and went to bed.
Sunday we actually got our behinds outta bed and went to church and lunch together. Had dinner at his mom's (she made strawberry pie...YUM), then met my brother, Tyler, & Jason & Jessica at Chili's (to have a milkshake, that's all) and then to see The Alamo. What a cool movie!
Then we went to bed together, exhausted and happy. And I didn't have class today! What a great weekend!!!! :)
